My involvement with the association
As a midwife, I have gained extensive experience working both in hospital settings and in independent practice. In 2020, I completed a Master of Science in Midwifery, during which I also developed a strong interest in research alongside my clinical work.
Following my studies, I had the opportunity to establish an interprofessional consultation service for women with mental health conditions and psychosocial vulnerabilities. Supporting women and their families through this particularly sensitive period of life is a deeply rewarding aspect of my work. I am equally committed to the continuous advancement of evidence-based care standards.
My professional practice spans two complementary areas: as a senior nursing and midwifery expert and Advanced Practice Midwife specialising in perinatal mental health, and as a research associate. This dual role allows me to bridge clinical practice and academic research in a meaningful way.
In addition to my professional activity, I am a co-host of the podcast «Rundum betreut - eine Hebamme und Frauenärztin machen gemeinsame Sache».
